Learning third party open source libraries

Got to know about different open source libraries in different categories for media management, network management,optimizing events (activities),memory leak detection library,converting objects into JSON and logger. I spent about 1 hour in learning about different libraries available to use which are mostly mostly bug free and willing to create one in future. My next task is to find the useful third party library for the project.
